Rural Summit 2014
NHILL 27 and 28 March 2014
The seventh annual Rural Summit was held in the township of Nhill in Hindmarsh Shire on 27 and 28 March 2014. Approximately 150 delegates from around the State travelled to Nhill to hear from a wide range of keynote speakers including Economist Saul Eslake and regional TV chef Stefano De Pieri.
The Summit theme was ‘Small Communities, Big Opportunities – facing the future and embracing change’. The economic benefit to Hindmarsh Shire was estimated at approximately $70,000 from the influx of visitors and expenditure around the event.
