Economic Development Guidelines

The RCV Economic Development Guidelines have been licensed and adapted from the Local Government Association of Queensland’s Economic Development and Investment Attraction Guidelines. They have been designed for use within Victoria’s legislative, policy and planning frameworks, and provide reference to valuable and relevant resources and case studies from across Victoria and Australia.

The Guidelines are intended to assist Local Governments to understanding their unique local economic environment and identify practical ways councils can support and encourage economic development in regions through day-to-day processes.

The content has been designed in a way that encourages active engagement with the material, including practical, downloadable templates for use that can be accessed by following the links within the document.
